I requested a quote for my used laptop on your estimator page, but I haven’t heard from you. What’s wrong?

I got quoted for a certain amount for my used laptop, but received a check for a different amount? Why?
When you arrive at the estimator page, we ask you a few questions to get a feel for the condition for your used laptop. Once your laptop arrives in our facility, we use a more detailed checklist to accurately evaluate your laptop’s condition. If it’s in better shape than we initially thought, we guarantee that we’ll offer you more money than the original quote. If there’s a crack or other damage that we’ll give you market value for it. At that point, if you’re not happy with the amount you’ll get, then we’re not happy. And we can send the laptop back to you at your request.
How do I determine the screen size of my laptop?
The easiest way to determine your laptop’s LCD screen size is to measure it diagonally with a ruler. If the measurement is 12.7″ to 13.3″, we consider it a 13″ screen; if the measurement is 13.7″ to 14.3″, we consider it a 14″ screen; and so on. If you are not sure of the size of your LCD screen, check 14″; this is the most common size. We will make the necessary adjustments to the quoted price when your laptop arrives at our facility.
Why wasn’t I quoted a price for my used laptops?
We will buy laptops that are still in the market, but those we can’t buy we’ll happily take them off your hands and recycle them for you. We appreciate that you want to do your part for the environment.
